Observation on Clinical Therapeutic Effect, Toxic and Side Effects of Capecitabine plus Fuzheng Jiedu Decoction Supplemented and Reduced Prescription for Advanced Gastric Cancer

This study deals with observation on clinical therapeutic effect and toxic side effects of capecitabine plus Fuzheng Jiedu decoction supplemented reduced prescription for advanced gastric cancer. From January 2011 to 2014, 145 patients cancer diagnosed by surgery, gastroscopy pathology in our hospital, measurable tumor lesions, were enrolled this study. They aged 45-85 y, mean age (62.3 ± 6.7) 75 males 70 females. In the group, disease progression time survival 2-19.5 mo 4.5-24 mo, respectively 5 cases survived, while those control group 1.5-20 months 4.2-23 respectively, 3 survived. The t test showed no significant difference between two groups (p>0.05). rate 60 within 1 y (87.0 %) was significantly higher than that (59 cases, 77.9 %), (p<0.05). incidence rates hand-foot syndrome, nausea vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, liver injury neurotoxicity 21.7 %, 2.9 11.6 7.2 1.4 % 17.4 which lower (43.4 22.3 25 21.1 11.8 36.8 chi-square a Capecitabine treating has good effect, less patient’s quality life is improved. It worthy being popularized.
